“Tour Secrets” by Winkk – article by Nuria

Tour Secrets

"It's not every day you get to hear about the music business from this angle. I can see this novel becoming a movie. Somebody call Tyler Perry- NOW!" –Diamonds & Pearl Book Club- Atlanta, GA.

Discover the secret world of dancers who bring the sizzle to the hottest concerts of your favorite recording artists around the world. “Tour Secrets” by Winkk is a page turner highlighting the thrills and chills of making it in the music industry from the dancer’s perspective. The novel is brilliantly weaved together in part by Winkk’s experiences on the road as a professional dancer combined with her imagination. “The characters and situations are not about real people or based off of anyone I know. It’s just a story I created using my creativity that I hope people will enjoy.” shared Winkk.

Prepare for a first-class trip around the world as the novel navigates through larger than life situations causing you to laugh aloud, get angry and at times, shed a tear. From the first chapter to the last page of the novel readers will be totally engaged by the adventures of main characters Music and Raven. Since childhood they shared a passion for dancing. Now as women, they aspire to become professional dancers who will ‘light up’ the stages of concerts for the hottest recording artists on world tours. Through stress, strain, happiness and real pain, they experience the sacrifices dancers make to achieve and maintain their dreams. There really are 3 sides to every story. The Groupies enjoyed their adventures. The Video Vixens shared their experiences and now through “Tour Secrets” by Winkk, the dancers tell their story.

Winkk has danced on tour with several Platinum Recording Artists. She has performed on numerous television and stage shows including Oprah Winfrey, BET and the Soul Train Music Awards. With several years in the entertainment business, she was a featured model in several magazines including Ebony and had a cameo role in the movie Barbershop. After enjoying a long and successful dance career, she decided to direct her creative energies into composing fictional stories. Winkk looks forward to writing more novels covering an array of topics and achieving her next major goal of seeing her literary works brought to life in film.
