Obama Being Pushed into War with Iran

Excerpts from Saviours’ Day 2010 speech by Minister Louis Farrakhan on February 28th in Chicago at the United Center:

“We are in the midst of universal change. The world wants change but the change is not to be brought about by any politician, but by God Himself. We have come to a crossroad in the Nation of Islam. Barack Obama was selected before he was elected. There’s a group of people who study you. When they select you, they study you. They studied Barack Obama, our brilliant Black brother. I love our brother and I am proud of him. Somehow we get deluded that we have made it. We have a Black president and we think America has changed. Some have and some voted for our brother.

“The White-right is trying to set Barack up to be assassinated. There are Christians who are praying for him to be killed. They have planned a war and they’re sucking Barack into their plan. They’ve crippled him with his legislation in October. I quoted the story about the she-camel and how Allah [God] destroyed the people of Hud and Thamud because He told them not hamstring the she-camel. A camel can get you across the desert and Barack wants to get America to a safety zone. He wants to end the war with the Israelis and Palestinians and start a new page with the Muslim world.

“The day he got elected, the gun shops sold out of guns and bullets. Since then, 100 new militias have been formed. In between what he does and the poor working class Blacks and Hispanics are racist people who make sure their people get what they can get and you’re left in the lurch.

“They are pushing him into a war with Iran and sending drones into Pakistan. Their government is weak and is a puppet government. The same with Afghanistan. The people are not with the government and America is wondering if the present leaders are overthrown by more radical leaders, they will have atomic weapons in their hands. Bush spent millions for regime change in Iran. The Zionists want Barack to bomb Iran. Daniel Pipes wrote an article saying “I never voted for Barack Obama but if he wants to save his presidency, bomb Iran.” They are building up the public for the next war the same way they built it up against Iraq and never found any weapons of mass destruction. They used Colin Powell and gave him skewed intelligence. When they bring a Black man up in power, they use him to sanction what they want done so you can be deceived. As they used Colin Powell, the Intelligence community skewed the information to fit a policy that was out of the State Department and out of the White House.

“They are getting ready to use Barack. This is sad because he is dependent on advice from the military. It’s a war machine and he is in the midst of that. He is in trouble and needs our prayers.

“[To the President] If you can speak for the gays, you can speak to any one of us. Speak for the poor. Speak for the working class that are getting crushed. The Whites who voted for you will not turn away because you help us. You can’t talk about reparations but we can’t stop talking about it. Put some money behind us. We can make a better people. It’s your turn. Ease your headache. If not, keep your eyes on the weather.”
