Black Cowboys in the 21st Century Chicago photographic exhibit opens in the Bronzeville Visitor Information Center exhibit gallery on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 5 PM until Midnight. Exhibit curators include: Photographers George E. Jones, Toya Werner-Martin and BPNI chairpersons; Jeanette Rouselle, Cultural Affairs Committee and Taki Raton, Education Committee. Join us on Friday, December 18th!

About the Bronzeville Visitor Information Center The Bronzeville Visitor Information Center (BVIC) is the primary location for discovering attractions, destinations and travel accommodations in the historic Bronzeville community. The BVIC is strategically located in the historic Supreme Life Building at the Gateway to the proposed Black Metropolis National Heritage Area. BVIC is an African American Heritage Tourism attraction and the cornerstone in the development of Bronzeville as a premier international travel/tourism destination. The BVIC serves as a point of orientation and information for residents, visitors, guests, students, investors, and researchers discovering Bronzeville. BVIC is owned and operation by the Black Metropolis Convention & Tourism Council (BMC&TC) a 501c3 not-for-profit Destination Marketing Organization for the Black Metropolis Historic District.
